From our hands to theirs
Sadaka Live is run by a Muslim who lives in Makkah, minutes from Al-Haram. Every Friday he goes to the mosque with boxes of hot meals, mushafs and prayer rugs bought that morning in the local market — and hands them out personally, one to one: to pilgrims, to workers, to whoever is in need.
There is no office and no team between your donation and the hand-out. You give — we buy — we hand it over — and you watch it happen on video, filmed the same day and posted with the date. That is the whole system, and that is why it works.

Giving here is not a campaign for us — it is a routine. Morning in the local market, evening on the streets around Al-Haram, gifts passed from our hands into someone's.
We give four things, chosen because they are needed every single day: hot iftar meals for people breaking their fast, printed mushafs for worshippers who came without one, prayer rugs for those who spread cardboard on the marble, and cold water with dates in the Makkah heat.
Through Ramadan 1447 we ran a daily iftar series — thirty days, every day filmed and posted. Outside Ramadan the work continues week by week, and every hand-out ends the same way: a post with the date, so the giver can see where the sadaka went.
No warehouses, no shipping, no middlemen. Your sadaka becomes food and gifts within days — in the same city where the Qibla stands.

How do I know my donation really reached someone?
Every distribution is filmed and posted with the date on Instagram. Your money becomes meals, mushafs or rugs within days — and the reel is your receipt.
Who are you?
Sadaka Live Corp is a US-registered Delaware nonprofit (EIN 32-0816201) run by Muslims living in Makkah. We buy in the local market and hand out personally near Al-Haram.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay — processed securely by Stripe. We never see your card details.
Can I cancel my monthly sadaqah?
Anytime. Reply to any of our emails with one word — “cancel” — and we stop it the same day. No questions, no forms.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Not yet. Our 501(c)(3) application is pending; until it is approved, donations are not tax-deductible.
When will my named order (Quran, wheelchair, Umrah Badal) be fulfilled?
Named gifts are handed out within 48 hours of the order, any day of the week — you receive the personal video and certificate by email. Umrah Badal takes 10-14 days — you receive the full video and certificate by email. We rotate: one Friday — hot meals, next — Qurans, next — prayer rugs. Your gift is handed out on the nearest Friday of its item, and you get the reel by email right after.
Can I dedicate a donation to someone?
Yes — every checkout has a dedication field. For named orders the dedication is the heart of the gift: the name is spoken on camera with duas.

Can I give Zakat here?
Yes — for hot meals. Zakat must reach people in need and become their property, so we accept it only where this is guaranteed: a hot meal handed directly to a person in clear need near Al-Haram — poor workers, stranded pilgrims, the elderly. Mushafs, rugs, dates and umbrellas go to pilgrims regardless of need, so we count them as sadaqah, not Zakat. To give Zakat: choose meals, write "Zakat" in the dedication field, and tick "Add 3% to cover fees" so your full Zakat is spent on the food itself. Zakat-marked meals are handed to those in visible need first, and every hand-out is filmed. Following a specific madhhab? Please confirm with your scholar. Use the calculator →
