Friday hand-outs at Al-Haram
Every Friday we hand out one gift to pilgrims at Al-Haram, in rotation: one week hot meals, the next Qurans, the next prayer rugs.
Who receives them
Pilgrims and worshippers at the Haram — many came with almost nothing, pray on cardboard, or spend the whole day in prayer.
How it works
You choose a gift on our site; it goes into the nearest Friday of that item; we hand it out ourselves and film it; the video comes to you by email.
- A hot meal — $10 (3 for $30, 10 for $89)
- A Quran, a complete printed mushaf — $12 (3 for $36, 10 for $99)
- A prayer rug — $10 (3 for $30, 5 for $48)
Results
From our records, which start on 18 September 2026:
- 18 September: at least 24 hot meals — watch
- 25 September: at least 92 Qurans — watch
- 2 October: at least 116 prayer rugs — watch
